MORE THAN 100 VEGETABLE & FLOWER VARIETIES GROWN
Everything starts as an experiment. An unusual seed, a new variety or an ingredient a chef has been looking for.
OPEN FIELD. UNDER COVER.
Much of what we grow spends the season in our open fields. The greenhouse and hoop houses give us protected spaces where heat-loving crops can settle in, and harvests can continue as the weather begins to turn.
We use organic and sustainable practices without synthetic pesticides, fertilizers or herbicides, focusing instead on healthy plants, living soil and growing spaces that become more resilient with every season.
Some parts of the farm work on a longer timeline. We’ve restored the property’s old apple trees and plan to expand the orchard. Beyond the growing fields, there’s a small cedar forest, a pond and a chicken coop. Willow, our dog, and Capers, our cat, roam the fields and tend to follow us wherever the work takes us. Our two-storey, Scandinavian-inspired barn hosts seasonal dinners and events.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
ORGANIC AND REGENERATIVE, ALWAYS
We don’t take shortcuts with the soil. Our practices are rooted in the belief that healthy land grows healthy food, and that caring for the earth directly shapes the quality of what we eat. We grow without synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or herbicides — focusing instead on building living, resilient soil and working in rhythm with nature.
SEASONAL AND INTENTIONAL
Each variety we grow on the farm is chosen with care and curiosity — for its flavour, its role in biodiversity, and its connection to the Ontario seasons. It reflects a more intentional way of growing and eating, where seasonality shapes what we grow and how we share it with the people who eat our food.
COMMUNITY AT THE CENTRE
Community is at the core of our farm. Everything we grow is shaped by the people who share the season with us — our Farm Share members, customers, chefs, and neighbours. It’s not just about what we grow, but about growing it together and staying connected along the way.
HONESTY OVER PERFECTION
Farming is both beautiful and hard. We share both sides — the abundance and the challenges, the bumper crops and the seasons that teach us something new. We’re not performing an ideal; we’re living one honest season at a time.
